La Vida Buena Wine Club
and Estancia
The La Vida Buena Wine Club was created by Yvonne and Thomas Phelan, two enthusiastic wine lovers who want to share their enjoyment and appreciation of unique Argentine wines with fellow wine lovers.
Because of their 100% commitment to success the Phelans moved to Mendoza and San Rafael, Argentina in July 2009 to personally oversee their 108 acre La Vida Buena Development which was purchased in December 2007.
In August 2009 over 30 acres went under planting including the 14 acre La Vida Buen Wine Club Vineyard along with the construction of a brand new Worker’s House that was completed in October 2009. (see Banner for: “Own A Boutique Vineyard” and Opt In. You wll be immediately be sent a return email with a direct link to a Sixty-Slide Presentation of the vineyard and worker’s house progress.
To date the La Vida Buena Wine Club has over fifty-five Members including numerous residents from the USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Argentine (Buenos Aires) Panama and major countries of Europe; France, England, Ireland, Belgium, Poland, Germany and Holland.
Here’s how the La Vida Buena Wine Club program works; each year possibly beginning in 2012 a Wine Club Member will begin to receive shipments of premium Argentine wines comprising Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Chardonnay.
In year five, 2014, each La Vida Buena Wine Club FULL Member will receive 60 bottles of Malbec, 60 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon, 60 bottles of Syrah and 60 bottles of Chardonnay. These shipments will begin in 2012 and continue for twenty years.
In year five, 2014, each La Vida Buena Wine Club 1/2 Member will receive 30 bottles of Malbec, 30 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon, 30 bottles of Syrah and 30 bottles of Chardonnay. Partial shipments may begin in 2012 and continue for twenty years

Here are what critics say about Argentine wine:
TV Host and Wine Critic Gary Vaynerchuk is very enthusiastic about Malbec wines

Here’s what wine “Expert” Robert M. Parker, Jr. says about Argentine wine.
“Malbec will make it big. By the year 2015, the greatness of Argentinean wines made from the Malbec grape will be understood as a given.
This French varietal has reached startling heights of quality in Argentina. Both inexpensive, delicious Malbecs and majestic, profoundly complex ones from high elevation vineyards are already being produced, and by 2015 this long-ignored grape’s place in the pantheon of noble wines will be guaranteed.”
Here’s what the Wine Spectator Magazine Says:
“Argentina makes more than one half of all the wine produced annually in South America. About 70 percent of Argentina's wine comes from Mendoza, and Mendoza produces 90 percent of the country's wine exports. Argentina is the ‘sleeping giant’ of the global wine industry.”
